La French Tech Krakow
This morning we organized the third edition of our Café & Tech roundtable, focused on #SportsTech and hosted at Akademia Wychowania Fizycznego im. Bronisława Czecha w Krakowie (University of Physical Education in Krakow). Café & Tech is a breakfast round-table series co-organized by La French Tech Krakow and the Consulate General of France in Krakow (Consulat général de France à Cracovie (Konsulat Francji w Krakowie)), bringing together local Polish and French stakeholders from public institutions, universities, VCs, startups, and large companies engaged in tech initiatives.During today’s edition, participants had a chance to present their activities connected to tech for athletes' performance / leisure activities, to network, and exchange on potential synergies. We also had the privilege to see Sports Tech in action, with the demo of AEROSIZE avalanche airbags and the visit of 𝗔𝗪𝗙 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗟𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀, including the hypoxic thermoclimatic chamber allowing the creation of artificial environment conditions (with oxygen levels equivalent to 0 - 6 500m altitude, temperature from -20°C to +35°C and air humidity up to 90%) - a unique experience in Poland, and only a few such chambers in Europe.A warm thank you to 𝗛𝗶𝘀 𝗠𝗮𝗴𝗻𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳.
